Nambli — provenance and licensing scope
Prepared 2026-10-07 from user-approved Nambli Family 0.7.3 (2026-10-02).

Yurii Tor supplied the logo reference, established the design direction,
requested specific changes to letter construction and rounded terminals,
reviewed successive specimens, and approved the glyph designs. The family
was renamed from Nembli to Nambli at his request.

AI tools generated and edited the Python code that constructs the outlines
and builds the fonts. This is an AI-assisted project; the glyphs are not
represented as having all been manually drawn by a human. No external font
outlines were imported according to the retained production records.
FontTools, Skia PathOps, HarfBuzz, Unicode/CLDR data and related tools were
used. The Unicode data license is retained in sources/UNICODE-LICENSE.txt.

Yurii Tor selected SIL OFL 1.1 for public distribution and confirmed the
public author/rightsholder name on 2026-10-07. AUTHORS.txt identifies the
person offering the project under OFL; it is not a government finding of
copyright ownership. The legal protection of particular AI-assisted parts
depends on applicable law and the nature of the human contribution.

The OFL notice licenses rights held in the font software, including the
project's original sources and build scripts. It does not create rights in
otherwise unprotected elements. Third-party dependencies retain their own
licenses. Brand logos and unrelated Nambli products are outside this font
package and are not offered under this font license.

No government copyright, trademark or design registration is claimed.

Yurii Tor's Google Individual CLA was verified as on file on 2026-10-07.
Google Fonts acceptance is not confirmed.
The original raster logo and private conversation are not included.

Release 1.0.0 (font version 1.000) adds Nambli-derived language characters and
mark/layout support using AI-assisted outline programming. Yurii Tor reviewed
the new additions and documented visual repairs, approved the final designs,
and requested publication on 2026-10-07. This design approval does not change
the licensing scope or imply a legal determination of copyright protection.
Unicode reference charts informed character structure; no third-party font
outlines were copied into the additions. Current production sources are the
editable UFOs, compiled using Fontmake/ufo2ft and FontTools. Tool dependencies
retain their respective licenses.
